| I absolutely loved Office Space, so when I saw your next job in IMDb (I think in 2003, when he was only the name "Untitled Mike Judge Project"), I changed my lid. Summer 2004 arrived, and was the same downtime on the website. Mike had left? Finally, three summers later, the Idiocracy Comedy is, and I am happy to see him. Only one problem, where is playing? Before Friday, no one had any information on this DivX film Idiocracy .. . all I knew was that of a chief who was playing at the Arclight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood. Now it seems there are some theaters that left most of the woodwork and the film. Therefore, there is no office space in terms of style of comedy. But it is not as Bevis and Butthead king of the mountains in style comedy, either. I realized it was a lot of comedy pass without any comment, because it is an attention to detail in landscapes, characters, and even the proportions. | There is much wrong with this movie. I will not lie. I will say that most of the problems they feel as if they come from a budget that was sharply below the film, and some bad hack job of editing. This is not office space. Do not go waiting Office Space comedy. It's fun, though. It's a mess, but fun at the same time. A funny mess of a movie. In the way Caddyshack is funny. A mess of unrelated scenes full of fun very annoying unfunny scenes. Works as a whole, however, certainly deserves a wide release. This is the best comment on the Wal Mart / Starbucks / MTV nation could hope for. The very fact that a Idiocracy movie is exploring the idea that people are dumb breeding at an alarming rate, while people are not smart, it's great in my book. Not very politically correct, but it's worth at least some discussion. |
| I've never seen a worse Idiocracy Comedy movie this release. And that's a shame, because this is the funniest DivX Movie Idiocracy of the year! You might think an ad with the line "From the director of" Office Space "" would be sufficient to justify a big news! But there are no ads, no posters, no website, I doubt the stars, even knew who left this weekend. What is 20th Century Fox thinking? Mike Judge's comedy science fiction takes place in 2505, but could become reality in about 10 years (if things continue as they are.) Luke Wilson and Maya Rudolph get frozen in a secret experiment in the wake of the army and a future full of inbred zombie consumers slows. It reminds me of Woody Allen's Idiocracy Comedy movie of "Sleeper," "RoboCop," "Planet of the Apes," "Blade Runner" and "Red" and the great "Futurama." Try to see it before Fox burns all prints! |
| I'm getting an 8 rating because the premise of the film. He was right, there was nobody who stood out as amazing or terrible.
