| I just do not understand what makes this Memento film so popular, particularly with male viewers, I mean 8.6? Come on, what is that? ... Leonard suffers from short term memory loss and track notes and using body parts to find the man who killed his wife. On his trip are a number of people must be able to assess at first glance, because of their deficiency. The by Guy Pearce is very convincing and attractive, but even the story, however, most of the time too irritating, and we constantly have to come back to you in order to fully understand what is happening. I like the flashbacks in the Memento film but a DVD film Memento that turns out to be a flashback in itself may be a little too demanding for me. I think this is not my kind of entertainment ... |
| ... then, in my opinion should be Memento. Christpher Nolan tells how this story is absolutely unique. I have never, ever seen anything like it. The main story is told backward, that is, you see a part that covers the period from 2 pm to 4 pm (not that this is indeed the case, time is irrelevant in this story is just an example used by me in an attempt to clarify how the Memento Mystery film is put together), after which you will see a part of 1 pm to 2 pm (or 2.10 hours, in reality because most of the overlap). This story main color DivX Movie Memento was used. These colors are separated by sections parts filmed in black and white film. These parts in black and white tell another part of the common history in sequential order. Because the main story is told backward, of course, the viewer does not know what caused the events to happen. This puts the audience in the same position as the main character who suffers from short term memory loss. Finding the way Christopher Nolan has achieved this effect is very, very smart. I must admit that during the first part, I felt a mild irritation that chose this sequence requires the viewer to think about what you see to put in perspective. But when it occurred to me why did I was completely captured by the story. I hope that we will see many more films of this very, very promising director. |
| This Memento Mystery movie is totally absorbing. I would have cast William Holden in the head if they were filmed while still alive, of Couse. The short-term memory graphic element was very effective. Is to put the viewer in the shoes of the main character. I mention William Holden would have been ideal as the lead actor? I forget. |
